These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ProofSelf, operated by Jorge Pintos Quisama, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. By creating an account or using ProofSelf, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use ProofSelf. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is not permitted.
You retain ownership of the videos you submit to ProofSelf. By submitting a proof video, you grant ProofSelf a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, compress, and add the ProofSelf overlay to your video for the purpose of providing the service. This license ends when your content is deleted (either by the automatic retention window or by account deletion).
You are solely responsible for the content of your videos. You agree not to submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or that violates the rights of others.
Your 5 is your private accountability group within ProofSelf. By joining a group, you agree that your proof metadata (habit name, day number, timestamp) may be visible to other members of Your 5. Video playback access within Your 5 is controlled by visibility settings.
ProofSelf offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. Pro subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase.
Free tier proofs are automatically deleted after 7 rolling days. This is a core feature of the service, not a defect. Pro proofs are stored permanently while your subscription is active.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. We may review reported content to enforce these Terms. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so at our discretion.
ProofSelf is a habit accountability tool. It does not provide medical, psychological, financial, fitness, or any other professional advice. The identity paths and associated habits are for personal development and accountability purposes only. Consult a qualified professional for specific advice related to your health, finances, or wellbeing.
The ProofSelf name, logo, overlay design, and application code are the property of ProofSelf. You may not use our trademarks, branding, or proprietary materials without written permission. Videos you export with the ProofSelf overlay may be shared on social media platforms.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
ProofSelf is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee any specific results from using ProofSelf.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProofSelf shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of ProofSelf. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of ProofSelf after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
